OSAA Seasons for 2020-2021 - Last Updated December 7th, 2020

Season 1 - Outdoor Sports 

Season 2 (6 weeks) - Fall Sports- February 8th, 2021 (Football only). All other fall sports start February 22nd - April 11th, 2021

Season 3 (6 weeks) Spring Sports - April 5th - May 23rd, 2021

Season 4 (6 weeks) Winter Sports - May 10th - June 27th, 2021

Solo Music - April 12th - April 25th, 2021

Dance/Drill - April 19th - May 2nd, 2021

Cheerleading - April 26th - May 10th, 2021

Choir/Band/Orchestra - May 10th - May 23rd, 2021

 

 

 

What can out of season sports do during Open and Closed Periods?

Closed Periods allow out of season sports to do strength training and conditioning as a team. This could be speed agility, weight room workouts, sprints on the track, etc. What this period doesn't allow is sport specific coaching. 

Open Periods allow out of season sports to practice with their team for 6 hours a week. This can include sport specific equipment and coaching.

Who can attend these workouts?

All open period workouts are available to anyone who wants to try out for a sport. In order to participate in workouts, prospective players must have their paperwork filled out and be an eligible student athlete.

If a player quits a sport midseason, they are NOT ALLOWED to be at an open period of another sport. Example - if a player quits football midseason, they are not allowed to be at the basketball open period practices until football season is over.
